A Newark man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for possessing child porn, according to federal prosecutors.
Frederick Trevitt, 63, of Newark was convicted of possessing child porn involving a young child.
He was found to be in possession of 368 images and 26 videos of child sex abuse material.
Prosecutors said Trevitt admitted to engaging in activities related to sex abuse of kids for 7 years.
