The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Newark woman following a suspicious condition investigation.
According to a news release, Rebecca Mayo, 41, was found in a vehicle that had been reported stolen in late-January.
Deputies found her in possession of the vehicle and took her into custody for criminal possession of stolen property.
Deputies also found several active warrants for her arrest from other agencies.
She was turned over to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office to face charges there.
