No serious injuries after two-vehicle crash on Rt. 89 in Seneca Falls

Police gave an update on a serious two-vehicle crash that happened late-Friday on State Route 89 in Seneca Falls.

According to a news release, around 6:25 p.m. police investigated the two vehicle crash finding Mattison Krol, 18, of Liverpool, was traveling west on Willows Hill Road when she stopped at the intersection with State Route 89 to enter Cayuga Lake State Park.

While Krol was crossing the intersection her vehicle was struck by another traveling along Route 89. That vehicle was operated by 16-year-old Clara Johnsongrove, of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Stephen Johnsongrove, a passenger, was transported to Geneva General Hospital with minor injuries. The vehicle driven by Johnsongrove, suffered significant damage and was towed from the scene. The vehicle being driven by Krol, suffered moderate damage and was also towed from the scene.

Police say the Seneca Falls Fire Department and North Seneca Ambulance assisted at the scene.
