One airlifted from overnight car-pedestrian accident in Cayuga County

Several departments were called to a car vs. pedestrian accident during the late-night hours on Sand Hill Road.

The call came in shortly after midnight, as New Hope Fire Department, Sempronius Rescue, and Fourtown Ambulance were dispatched to the area of Sand Hill Road near Dresserville Road, according to our partners at the Cayuga-Seneca Fire Wire.

Shortly after they arrived on-scene, LifeNet was requested to the scene.

One person was airlifted by LifeNet to an area hospital. However, additional information about their condition was not immediately available.
