Ontario County announces nominees for ATHENA leadership awards

The Ontario County ATHENA Steering Committee unveiled today the nominees for this year’s ATHENA Leadership and ATHENA Young Professional honors.

Recognizing excellence across various professional domains, the ATHENA Leadership Awards spotlight individuals who not only shine in their careers but also significantly contribute to their communities and actively champion the growth of women in leadership roles. This year’s nominees have showcased the Eight Principles of Enlightened Leadership, which encompass traits like authenticity, continuous learning, and fierce advocacy.

Among the ATHENA Leadership Award nominees are distinguished professionals like Elizabeth A. Talia of Thompson Health and Erin Reese of Mercy Flight Central. Meanwhile, the Young Professional Leadership Award category highlights emerging talents like Danielle Winkler from ENALAS. The grand celebration, marking the 38th Annual ATHENA Leadership Awards Dinner, is scheduled for Wednesday, November 8th at Hotel Canandaigua. The event promises an engaging evening with a silent auction and a special media presentation honoring the nominees. Tickets will be available from September 1st on the official website. The ceremony garners notable backing from prominent organizations including Canandaigua National Bank & Trust, Constellation Brands, and Wegmans, among others.
