The Ontario County Chamber of Commerce (ONChamber) Board of Directors announced that its President & CEO, Ethan Fogg, has stepped down from his position.
Having led the Chamber for the past six years, Fogg was instrumental in the growth of the organization, expanding its services to eight counties and successfully navigating the challenges posed by the pandemic. Board Chair Michelle Pedzich praised Fogg for his passionate leadership and invaluable contributions, including the integration with the Victor Chamber and the rebranding to the Ontario County Chamber.
Fogg expressed his pride in the organizationโs achievements during his tenure and stated that he had helped the Chamber achieve its goals, paving the way for a promising future. The ONChamber has been involved in a multi-year strategic planning process that includes community input into its future direction. Based on the feedback received, the Board is planning to play a greater role in economic development and public policy, in line with its mission to foster economic prosperity in the Finger Lakes region.
In light of Foggโs departure, the ONChamber Board will immediately commence a search for a new executive to implement these strategic goals. Meanwhile, Michael Mills, Vice Chair of the Board, will serve as the interim manager of Chamber operations. As a seasoned public affairs consultant with a track record of serving as an outsourced executive to nonprofits and corporations, Mills is expected to ensure continuity and exceptional service to ONChamber members.
