The Syracuse basketball team is set to host Virginia Tech in its final home game of the regular season tonight at 7 p.m.
The Orange (18-10, 9-8 ACC) picked up a second straight victory last Saturday, beating Notre Dame 88-85 at the JMA Wireless Dome despite almost blowing a 29-point lead. The win improved Syracuse’s home record to 13-2.
The Hokies most recently fell at Pittsburgh 79-64 and have dropped two of the last three. Virginia Tech is 1-8 on the road following the loss.
The two teams will meet for the 20th time, with Syracuse holding a 12-7 lead in the all-time series. The Orange lost the last matchup 85-70 on January 28, 2023.
