ORANGE GAME DAY: Syracuse looks for second straight win at home vs. Notre Dame (preview)

The Syracuse basketball team returns home after a two-game road trip to host Notre Dame at the JMA Wireless Dome at noon on Jim Boeheim Day.

The Orange (17-10, 8-8 ACC) went 1-1 on the road trip, most recently defeating NC State, 87-83, on Tuesday night behind Chris Bellโ€™s 26-point first half and Quadir Copelandโ€™s career-high 25 points.

The Fighting Irish (10-16, 5-10 ACC) have won three consecutive games after taking down Louisville, 72-50, on Wednesday night.

Syracuse and Notre Dame will meet for the 57th time, with the Orange holding a 33-23 lead in the all-time series. SU won both matchups last season and has not lost to the Fighting Irish since February 23, 2022.

The game will be televised on ESPN with Doug Sherman and Randolph Childress on the call.
