Oswego County Federal Credit Union (OCFCU) recently announced the launch of its 9th Annual “Gloves with Love” initiative in partnership with Constellation Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station. The “Gloves with Love” program aims to provide local community members with appropriate winter clothing. As part of this initiative, OCFCU asks community members to drop off winter clothing items such as hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens at any of its locations through the end of the year.
Bill Carhart, CEO of Oswego County Federal Credit Union, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating, “We are thrilled to continue our annual tradition of giving back to the community through ‘Gloves with Love.’ It is heartwarming to see our employees and their families support those in need, especially during the winter.”
OCFCU employees and their families will place hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves on trees in various parks throughout Oswego, NY, Fulton, NY, and Mexico, NY, starting in January 2024. OCFCU will donate additional items to the resource officers of local area schools.
