The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of Audie Arliss Jr., 37, from Palmyra, stemming from an investigation into a domestic incident.
Arliss has been charged with second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree assault, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Arliss is accused of engaging in a physical confrontation with another person at the residence.
During the altercation, it’s alleged he assaulted the victim with a weapon in the presence of the victim’s children and subsequently damaged a vehicle on the premises using the same weapon.
Following his arraignment by Justice Terry Rodman at CAP court, Arliss was placed under the sheriff’s custody without bail. He is set to appear in Palmyra Court on October 10.
