Police arrested a 48-year-old Penn Yan man following a fight at the Lake Street Plaza.
It was reported that Ryan Scouten, 48, struck a person in the head with his fist during the altercation.
He was issued a criminal summons for second-degree harassment.
That charge will be answered at a later date in local court.
Additional details about the victim’s condition were not released.
