The Penn Yan Police Department reports the arrest of a 42-year-old following an investigation into a claim that a person violated an active court order.
Kyle Kennon-Brown, 42, of Penn Yan was arrested for falsely reporting an incident after he claimed a person appeared at his residence.
He told authorities the person there was subject of an active court order.
Police ultimately learned that Kennon-Brown invited the person onto his property.
He was issued an appearance ticket for local court.
