The Wayne County Sheriff’s office reports the arrest of a Phelps man following a criminal investigation.
Deputies say 32-year-old Scott Allan Demarse was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
He’s accused of sending inappropriate text messages to a juvenile.
He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge at a later date.
