The Geneva Police Department says a Mt. Vernon man was taken into custody on a felony charge after an incident on Exchange Street.
According to a news release, Donell Turner, 33, was arrested for criminal contempt and aggravated family offense.
Both charges are felonies, which stemmed from a warrant being issued out of Geneva City Court for an incident that happened last September.
Details of that incident were not released. However, Turner will appear in city court at a later date to anwer the charges.
