Police say a 23-year-old Ontario resident was arrested at the Camelot Court apartments in Canandaigua after an investigation.
According to police, Destiney Andrews, 23, of Ontario was arrested for criminal mischief, menacing, and criminal trespass after she went to the apartment there to dispute the ownership of a cat.
She’s accused of forcing entry into the apartment, which resulted in an altercation with a neighbor.
Police said in a news release that Andrews then threatened the neighbor with a snow shovel.
She was taken into custody and will answer the charges at a later date.
