The Ithaca Police Department has released video and is asking for the public’s help as it investigates a string of commercial burglaries.
In all five reported burglaries, cash and other items were taken from the locations or businesses. In one case, a vehicle was also stolen and recovered a day later.
The locations hit by the suspect, or suspects if others were involved included:
- Buffalo Street Books on July 29 at North Cayuga Street.
- Botanist Coffee Shop on July 29 at North Tioga Street.
- Coal Shack Cafe on July 28 at Maple Avenue.
- Perfect Painters on July 27 at Madison Street.
- First Presbyterian Church on July 25 at North Cayuga Street.
Police asked anyone who recognizes the person or has information that could potentially help the investigation to contact IPD.
