Police arrested a Seneca Falls man following a child abused investigation in Seneca County.
On July 8 around 8:14 p.m. Charles Orego Jr, age 26, of Seneca Falls, was taken into custody.
Police say the arrest followed a Child Protective Services investigation into reported child abuse.
The Seneca Falls Police Department assisted in the investigation and determined that Orego acted in a way injurious to a child who was under the age of 17.
He was charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
He was brought to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. An order of protection was requested on the child’s behalf.
