Who will be the next Town Supervisor of Seneca Falls?
That question has been swirling, as Incumbent Mike Ferrara faces a challenger from within. The Republican is being challenged by Frank Schmitter, a longtime state trooper and town resident. The two sat down for lengthy conversations about how they would like to see the supervisorโs office run after this year.
Ferrara says thereโs work left to be done, which is the driving force for his campaign. Schmitter says he is an advocate for transparency and wants to see the community involved in town matters.
Primary voting is already underway for registered Republicans. Primary Day is on Tuesday. The winner will appear on the Republican line in Novemberโs general election.
