Deputies arrested a Rochester man in Steuben County after an investigation into a stolen vehicle.
Nicholas Morales, 32, was arrested after he abandoned a stolen vehicle from Monroe County in Wayland.
While he was in Wayland he stole a second vehicle; and drove it north into Livingston County.
That’s where deputies say he was taken into custody and charged with grand larceny, as well as criminal possession of stolen property.
Both of the charges are felonies, according to deputies, who say he was arraigned and released. Then, arraigned in Steuben County and held without bail.
