The Buffalo Sabres made a pair of roster moves before Thursday’s home game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Forwards Jeff Skinner and Jordan Greenway were activated from Injured Reserve. No corresponding roster moves were needed because of the NHL’s roster freeze.
Skinner missed three games after suffering an upper-body injury in a game against the Colorado Avalanche.
Greenway missed nine games after suffering an upper-body injury in a game against the Carolina Hurricanes on December 2.
Skinner is tied with JJ Peterka for the team lead in goals (12) and ranks fourth in points (22).
