Sabres erase two-goal deficit, pull away in third period to beat Sharks 

The Buffalo Sabres earned a second-straight win Saturday evening, beating the San Jose Sharks 5-2 to cap off a three-game West Coast trip. 

Buffalo (22-23-4) fell behind 2-0 in the first period but scored five unanswered goals to complete the comeback. 

JJ Peterka led the way again, scoring two goals, his 17th and 18th of the season. Alex Tuch (14), Jordan Greenway (6), and Dylan Cozens (10) also found the back of the net, while Casey Mittelstadt and Dylan Cozens tallied two assists each. 

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 22 saves between the pipes.

The Sabres will get nine days off for the All-Star break and return to action on Tuesday, February 6, when they host the Dallas Stars.
