The Buffalo Sabres had its three-game win streak snapped with a 4-1 road loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday afternoon.
Buffalo (32-31-5) jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first period as Tage Thompson sniped one on the power play, but Detroit tallied four unanswered, including an empty-netter, to pick up the win.
Alex Tuch and Rasmus Dahlin added assists, while Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 22 saves.

The Sabres will continue a five-game road trip on Monday when they visit the Seattle Kraken at 10 p.m.
