Schuyler County’s vacant Administrator position has temporarily been filled, as announced at Monday night’s County Legislature session.
The board has named Shawn Rosno, the county’s present Director of Community Services, as the Interim Administrator.
The seat had been empty for over a month following the placement of Fonda Chronis on administrative leave, the details of which remain undisclosed.
In late-July Chronis and the county agreed to part ways. The county will continue its search for a permanent Administrator while Rosno occupies the interim role.
