Schuyler Hospital and Cayuga Health have accepted a $5,000 charitable donation made to the Schuyler Hospital Foundation for the Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility.
The donation was made by Watkins Glen Elks Club and represents a significant contribution to the local healthcare system.
The Watkins Glen Elks Lodge #1546, part of the National Elks Association, has a history of generous donations to the hospital, with a total contribution of $17,000 over the past four years.
Tom Phillips, Watkins Glen Elks Lodge Treasurer and member of the Schuyler Health Foundation Board of Directors, stressed the organization’s commitment to enhancing community spirit and quality of life in Watkins Glen and the broader Schuyler County.
