Seneca Falls man who resisted arrest during incident with police skips court, taken into custody second time

Police arrested a Seneca Falls man after he failed to appear in local court.

According to a release from SFPD, Johnathon Flesch, 30, was arrested on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court earlier this month.

He was originally charged with petit larceny, resisting arrest, and obstruction.

Police said at the time Flesch concealed merchandise at Tops Friendly Markets in Seneca Falls, exited the store, then resisted arrest when confronted by law enforcement.

He was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
