The Seneca Falls Police Department successfully apprehended 31-year-old Trejohn Pierce of Waterloo on February 2 for multiple outstanding charges. Pierce was detained without any issues by an officer who was executing outstanding warrants against him.
Pierce’s arrest was primarily due to an outstanding bench warrant for criminal possession of a weapon. He was also wanted on an arrest warrant for petit larceny and conspiracy, highlighting a pattern of legal issues. Previous to this arrest, Pierce had failed to appear for several court dates related to his initial arraignment, where he was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and subsequently released on his own recognizance.
The failure to appear in court led to an additional charge of bail jumping, a class A misdemeanor, being filed against Pierce. He was taken to the Seneca County Jail where he awaits arraignment for his charges, marking a significant step in addressing his alleged criminal activities.
