Seneca Falls police arrest bail jumper on weapons charges

The Seneca Falls Police Department successfully apprehended 31-year-old Trejohn Pierce of Waterloo on February 2 for multiple outstanding charges. Pierce was detained without any issues by an officer who was executing outstanding warrants against him.

Pierceโ€™s arrest was primarily due to an outstanding bench warrant for criminal possession of a weapon. He was also wanted on an arrest warrant for petit larceny and conspiracy, highlighting a pattern of legal issues. Previous to this arrest, Pierce had failed to appear for several court dates related to his initial arraignment, where he was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and subsequently released on his own recognizance.

The failure to appear in court led to an additional charge of bail jumping, a class A misdemeanor, being filed against Pierce. He was taken to the Seneca County Jail where he awaits arraignment for his charges, marking a significant step in addressing his alleged criminal activities.
