Sergeant hurt while man who damaged vehicle with frying pan resists arrest in Seneca County

Deputies arrested a Seneca County resident after a domestic incident where the suspect was repeatedly striking a vehicle with a frying pan.

Jamison Davis is accused of damaging the vehicle with a frying pan during an incident on May 12.

He refused to put it down and then resisted arrest. A sergeant from the sheriffโ€™s office was injured in the incident.

Investigators found that Davis attempted to instigate a fight with the victim, damaged the victimโ€™s vehicles with a mop, then a frying pan, all while in the presence of a child.

Following that investigation, Davis was charged with aggravated family offense, resisting arrest, menacing, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal mischief, and harassment.

All of the charges will be answered at a later date.
