A registered sex offender accused of exposing himself in several local stores, who has a criminal history of more than 30 years, is going to prison.
Paul Goodrell has pleaded guilty to burglary as a sexually motivated felony, as well as three counts of public lewdness and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arrested several times in December, and eventually held pending legal action.
The guilty plea means Goodrell will spend 7 years in prison, as well as 15 years of post-release supervision.
All told, Goodrell exposed himself to a child under 12 in Farmington at the Tops Market there, a 7-year-old whom he also tried to lure away at another grocery store, and following a family a family with young girls at the Walmart in Victor.
