SF man arrested for contempt; fourth arrest since October 2023

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a local man after another incident involving law enforcement.

Asa Poormon, who has been arrested twice in recent months, was taken into custody a third time on February 20 around 4 p.m. after he violated an active court order.

He was found outside the residence where the incident had taken place, police said.

He was charged with criminal contempt and issued an appearance ticket for a later date.

Poormon was recently arrested for failure to update his address as a registered sex offender.
