Governor Kathy Hochul has released an update on the ongoing search for Charlotte Sena, a 9-year-old girl reported missing from Saratoga County.
Charlotte was last seen at Moreau State Park, where she had been with her family, and an AMBER alert was issued on October 1 at 9:35 a.m., following the report of her disappearance at 6:47 p.m. on Saturday night.
Over 100 personnel have been mobilized and a command post established at the state park to coordinate search efforts. Governor Hochul emphasized the urgent nature of the search and appealed to the public for any information, urging anyone with details to contact 911.
Charlotte is described as 4 foot 6, weighing about 90 pounds, with green eyes and long blonde hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing an orange tie-dye Pokemon shirt, dark blue pants, black Crocs, and a gray bike helmet.
State police believe she is in imminent danger of serious harm. The governor conveyed her resolve to find Charlotte, stating, โI promised her parents weโll find their daughter.
