The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 36-year-old Cameron resident after a welfare fraud investigation.
Timothy Mosher, 36, was charged with offering a false instrument for filing, welfare fraud, and grand larceny after an investigation with local law enforcement and Steuben County Department of Social Services.
Mosher is accused of offering a false instrument for filing to DSS and receiving nearly $1,500 in benefits illegally.
He was arraigned on the charges and will appear in local court at a later date.
