Strange light spotted in Ontario County sky: What as it? (video)

What was that light? Residents in Canandaigua and Victor reported seeing a strange shaped light in the sky during the evening hours on Tuesday.

The video, which was shot by Christie Smith, garnered a ton of attention on social media, as others in the area reported seeing the same thing.

Of course, some residents had fun with the sighting – speculating about an array of possibilities – including extraterrestrial life.

The light went away after a short time, according to residents who spotted it.
