The Dino Babers era is officially over.
Syracuse University fired the head coach on Sunday morning after eight seasons with the program, Director of Athletics John Wildhack announced.
Tight ends coach Nunzio Campanile will take over head coaching duties for the regular season finale next week against Wake Forest.
The Orange have lost six of seven since starting the season 4-0.
Babers will finish his Syracuse tenure with a 41–55 overall record
