Syracuse hangs on to beat Boston College (full coverage)

Syracuse jumped out to a 19-point lead in the first half but survived a Boston College comeback attempt to pick up a 69-59 victory at the JMA Wireless Dome on Wednesday night. With the win, the Orange moved to 11-4 on the season and 8-0 at home.

Cuse took a 32-22 lead into the locker room after leading by as many as 19 points. The Eagles opened the second half with a 28-18 run to take a one-point lead with seven minutes remaining. However, Syracuse quickly regained the lead and pulled away for the bounce-back win.

Chris Bell scored a game-high 20 points, Maliq Brown poured in 19, and Judah Mintz added 10 despite not being in the starting lineup.
