Deputies arrested a Syracuse resident at Eastview Mall as they continue their holiday shoplifting prevention work.
Ashley Shontell Larode, 26, was arrested for petit larceny after stealing $172 worth of merchandise.
She was issued an appearance ticket, deputies said in a press release.
The charge will be answered at a later date.
