Syracuse’s second-half comeback falls short in loss to Clemson (full coverage)

The Syracuse Orange tried to come back from a 13-point halftime deficit but fell short in a 77-68 loss to the Clemson Tigers on Saturday afternoon at the JMA Wireless Dome. 

With the loss, Syracuse dropped to 15-9 on the season, 6-7 in the ACC, and 12-2 at home. 

Four players finished in double figures for the Orange. JJ Starling and Chris Bell led the way with 16 points apiece. Judah Mintz poured in 14, while Quadir Copeland added 13.

Syracuse has lost two straight against the Tigers and is 6-8 in the all-time series.
