Theatre444 is set to showcase a compelling one-man play, “The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey,” penned by James Lecesne.
This gripping narrative revolves around Chuck DeSantis, a spirited New Jersey detective who embarks on a quest to solve the mysterious disappearance of teenager Leonard Pelkey. As he delves into Leonard’s world, Chuck discovers profound insights about embracing individuality and the power of courage. The New York Times lauded the play, emphasizing its uplifting message by remarking it “leaves you beaming with joy.”
Patrick Fegley from Clifton Springs takes center stage, masterfully portraying a spectrum of characters from a vibrant coastal town, showcasing the intricate beauty of being unique. The production boasts an accomplished team, including NYS Award Winning Artistic Director Pam Rapoza, complemented by Technical Director Garrett Coons and Light Operator Bryce Corsner.
The performances will light up the stage from November 16-18 at 8 pm, with a matinee on November 19 at 4 pm.
