Three arrested while stealing car parts from property in Wayne County

Deputies arrested a trio of suspects following an investigation into stolen car parts in the town of Arcadia.

According to a news release, Joseph Ruthven, 33, of Clyde; Matthew Bell, 33, of Waterloo; and Travis Heyer, 37, of Pennsylvania were all arrested after deputies were called to Fink Road for a report of a suspicious vehicle along the side of the road.

All three were located at the scene, stealing car parts from a vacant home on Fink Road.

They were charged with possession of burglars tools, criminal mischief, and attempted petit larceny.

Ruthven was also charged with obstruction, deputies said.

The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
