The Ontario County Chamber of Commerce has appointed Tracey Dello Stritto as its new President & CEO, following an extensive search, with her tenure set to commence on October 23.
Dello Stritto will be overseeing the chamberโs day-to-day operations, financial management, and its complete range of activities while focusing on strategic priorities such as member relations, retention, and recruitment, and will report to the board of directors. The chamber believes that the presidentโs role is multifaceted, requiring a comprehensive understanding of the roles played by businesses, government, and community leaders in mission delivery, and the ability to nurture these crucial relationships.
Dello Stritto, a resident of Ontario County, is not new to leadership roles. She transitioned from The Partnership for Ontario County, where she was the executive director since 2019. Her professional background also includes serving as the Executive Director of the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance and holding managerial roles at Dove Harbor and the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester. Dello Stritto, who has a bachelorโs degree in counseling from Clarks Summit University, expressed her honor in receiving the role and emphasized her commitment to enhancing the professional business community through the chamberโs core values.
Her assumption of leadership concludes a productive period for the chamber, which has retained ownership of its offices on S. Main Street in Canandaigua and has multiple initiatives planned for the rest of 2023, including business mixers, a Presidentโs Circle, and the ATHENA Awards program.
