Two in custody after multi-agency pursuit through Auburn

Details remain limited, but two people were apprehended after an apparent high-speed pursuit on Friday in the Auburn-area.

The Citizen reports that one person was apprehended at the end of McMaster Street, near the Arterial, where he had entered the Owasco River.

The second involved suspect was apprehended in the Curleyโ€™s Restaurant parking lot.

The car involved was reported stolen, according to first responders who spoke with FingerLakes1.com about the incident.

Auburn police, state police, and Cayuga County Sheriffโ€™s Office were all involved in the pursuit, which ended after spike strips were deployed.
