The Newark Police Department reports the arrest of a 62-year-old after he punched a person in the face at a gas station.
Police were called to Crosbys Gas Station on North Main Street to investigate an alleged assault.
Nicholas Kouwe, 62, is accused of punching another 62-year-old in the face.
The victim required treatment at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital for a concussion and whiplash.
Kouwe was charged with assault and will answer the charge at a later date.
