Waterloo juveniles arrested for making graffiti on churches, historical buildings, and houses

Police in Waterloo arrested a pair of juveniles after a graffiti investigation earlier this month.

According to a release, the two juveniles, who were not identified due to age, were charged with making graffiti and criminal tampering. One of them was also charged with petit larceny.

The original incident occurred in mid-January, when the juveniles spray painted churches, historical buildings, and houses throughout the community. The spray paint was stolen from the local library, police said.

They were both issued appearance tickets and will answer the charges at a later date.

The extent of damage done was not detailed in the release.
