Waterloo man arrested for bail jumping, coercion, and multiple warrants

The Seneca Falls Police Department apprehended 25-year-old Kody J. Russell from Waterloo on February 2 due to several bench warrants for failing to appear in court.

Russell was spotted and arrested in the Village of Waterloo for four outstanding bench warrants related to various charges, including DWAI drugs, coercion, three counts of petit larceny, and criminal mischief.

Previously arraigned and released on his own recognizance, Russell failed to attend his scheduled court dates in the Town of Seneca Falls Court, leading to further legal complications. His repeated absences resulted in additional charges against him, including four counts of bail jumping.

Following his arrest, Russell was taken to the Seneca County Jail, where he is set to await arraignment on these charges.
