Waterloo man faces several felony drug charges

Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson reports the arrest of a Waterloo resident on multiple felony drug charges.

On February 5 around 10 a.m. investigators arrested Michael E. Smith, 35, of Waterloo for two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance as a felony, and two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance as a felony.

The arrest stems from a drug investigation where Smith is alleged to have sold crack cocaine in the village of Waterloo.

Smith was arraigned at the Centralized Arraignment Court and is to appear to the Village of Waterloo Court at a later date to answer for the charges.
