Wayne County Sheriff’s Office investigates home invasion in Macedon

Authorities are searching for suspects following a violent home invasion in the Town of Macedon early Friday morning. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call at approximately 4:58 a.m. from a residence on Route 31F, where a couple reported being threatened and restrained by intruders.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, three unknown males entered the home while the residents were asleep. Two of the intruders appeared to be armed and brandished guns while threatening the couple. The suspects, described as Spanish-speaking, tied up the victims and stole multiple items from the residence.

The male homeowner sustained minor injuries during the incident and was treated on-site by the Town of Macedon Ambulance. The suspects fled the scene and remain at large.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the New York State Police, the Town of Macedon Police, and Town of Macedon Ambulance, continues to investigate the robbery.
