New York acquired left-handed reliever Caleb Ferguson from the Los Angeles Dodgers, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reported. The Dodgers will receive lefty Matt Gage and right-hander Christian Zazueta in the deal.
Ferguson, 27, posted a 3.43 ERA over 201 games with LA from 2018-23.
This is the second trade of the offseason between the two clubs. In December, the Yankees acquired lefty reliever Victor Gonzรกlez and infielder Jorbit Vivas in exchange for shortstop Trey Sweeney.
