Yankees catcher Jose Trevino to undergo season-ending wrist surgery

The New York Yankees made a couple of surprising roster moves ahead of their series opener against the Kansas City Royals.

The club placed Jose Trevino on the 10-day injured list with a right wrist tear and recalled Ben Rortvedt from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
