Carlos Rodón, who has yet to make his Yankee debut, will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday with the Somerset Patriots. The left-hander will need about three starts before he joins the big-league club.
Aaron Judge received another PRP injection in his toe during Thursday’s off-day. The second injection was to help with a ligament that is still bothering him. There is still no timetable for his return.
Harrison Bader, who was supposed to be activated ahead of the series in Boston, is staying in Somerset to play in two more rehab games. The Yankees are targeting Tuesday for his return to the lineup.
Ian Hamilton is doing well after facing hitters. His next throw day is Sunday, which could be the start of a rehab assignment.
Jonathan Loáisiga started a throwing program a few days ago. There is no timetable for his return.
Nestor Cortes could start a throwing program Sunday. The Yankees are targeting sometime in July for his return.
