The New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers will play in the 2024 Little League Classic on August 18 in Williamsport, PA, Major League Baseball announced Sunday.
It will be the seventh Little League Classic. The first one was played in 2017 between the Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals.
New York will serve as the road team for this contest. The game will air nationally exclusively on ESPN’s “Sunday Night Baseball” at 7:00 p.m.
