The New York Yankees are calling up prospects Jasson Domínguez and Austin Wells, Greg Joyce of the New York Post reported Wednesday night.
The 20-year-old Dominguez, a center fielder, and the 24-year-old Wells, a catcher, are expected to make their Major League debuts Friday when the club begins a three-game series with the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.
With Domínguez and Wells arriving, SS Anthony Volpe, IF Oswald Peraza, and OF Everson Pereira already on the big-league roster, the Yankees are going as young as they have in a long time.
